LOS INGRAVIDOS
Alonso and Bryan, two eighteen-year-old Mexicans from a small Mayan village, are devastated by the disappearance of their friend Gustavo, one of the many who have vanished without a trace in a Mexico plagued by cartel trafficking. Determined to find him, they embark on a search that leads them through ancient legends and forgotten superstitions. Among these, they uncover the myth of Ixtabay, a female demon who seduces and abducts men. Convinced that the creature is connected to Gustavo’s disappearance, the two boys venture into the depths of a xenote, a sacred cave considered the cradle of Mayan civilization. There, in the darkness and terror, they will be forced to confront their deepest fear: their future.

Through camerawork of rare intimacy and purpose, the film navigates the boundary between belief and fact, making both feel equally urgent, equally alive. A film that holds myth and social reality in precise, unsettling balance, it transforms a journey into the dark into a meditation on fear, loss, and what communities carry when those they love vanish without trace.
